Description:
Professor Caty Borum Chattoo invites prospective students to join her class Writing for Strategic Communication on Monday Mornings in the McKinley Building, from 8:10AM - 11:00AM, during the Fall 2018 semester.
This course explores the relationship between audience, message structure, and medium through strategic writing. Students develop skills in drafting, editing, and polishing of strategic communication writing products, including plans, news releases, speeches, social media, opinion pieces, and short video treatments/scripts. Includes an emphasis on deadline writing and editing skills.
Location is TBA. Space is limited, so please only sign-up for one class per semester.
