Please join us on October 17 to welcome data analyst, author, and journalist Nate Silver. Silver is the founder and editor in chief of FiveThirtyEight, a website that tells data-driven stories about politics, economics, science, and sports. Silver's New York Times bestselling book, The Signal and The Noise: Why So Many Predictions Fail - but Some Don't, details the art of forecasting in today's messy world of big data. As we head into the 2020 presidential election season, Silver will discuss the past, present, and future of data analytics and how they inform political predictions.
