Description:
SIS Virtual Class Visits offer students an opportunity to attend a simulated SIS graduate class featuring a substantive course lecture and follow-up discussion.
Billions of dollars are spent on development aid each year but how do we know that this actually leads to changes on the ground? Join SIS professor Stefanie Onder for this session that examines how to understand and improve the effectiveness of interventions aiming to bring about behavioral, socioeconomic, or political change. Students will gain a nuanced understanding of what an impact evaluation is, and what the key conceptual implementation challenges are, when evaluating, for example, a real-life World Bank project.
