Class Visit: Research for Marketing Decisions

A campus visit is likely the best way to learn more about our program. You will have the opportunity to see the university campus and the Kogod School of Business facilities, as well as observe our faculty and students in a live classroom environment. A current student ambassador will bring you to class with them and afterwards treat you to coffee to share their experience as a Kogod student and answer any questions you have. This course provides an overview of marketing research and its use in making effective marketing decisions. The course introduces the market research process and emphasizes appropriate research designs, sampling plans, and a toolbox of data collection and analysis techniques so that the results generated are meaningful and valid. Qualitative and quantitative research methods are covered. Students design questionnaires, collect research data, and use software to analyze data. Emphasis is on the applications of marketing research in various fields of marketing.
