Class Visit: ACCT-680 Advanced Forensic Accounting/ Fraud Investigation (MS Accounting)

Description:
A campus visit is likely the best way to learn more about our program. You will have the opportunity to see the university campus and the Kogod School of Business facilities, as well as observe our faculty and students in a live classroom environment. A current student ambassador will bring you to class with them and afterwards treat you to coffee to share their experience as a Kogod student and answer any questions you have. This is an advanced course focusing on the detection and investigation of business crimes with an emphasis on the forensic accountant's role in uncovering fraud. Topics include fraudulent financial statement analysis, fraud detection using electronic evidence, legal issues that arise during a fraud examination, a forensic accountant's role in the litigation process as a consulting and expert witness, and other special topics.
