The School of Public Affairs (SPA) will host Top Prospect Day that will begin with opportunities for virtual class visits during the week leading up to the event and a full agenda on Friday, February 12, 2021; 9:00am-2:00pm (ET). SPA's Top Prospect day is designed for candidates who have demonstrated strength through a compelling application file and/or priority affiliation. Top Prospect Day offers prospective Fall 2021 master's students an opportunity to explore academic fit, engage with select faculty, current students, alumni, and their future peer network, as well as experience the beautiful American University (AU) campus and the excitement of Washington, D.C. The experience is sure to enable students the privilege to envision themselves as part of the robust AU and SPA communities.
The SPA Top Prospect Day experience begins with virtual class visits during the week of the event. The Top Prospect Day agenda includes faculty current issue talks, distinctive opportunities panel, a career service and professional outcomes presentation, current student/alumni panel, as well as a session devoted to SPA's admission process and merit aid strategy.
Fall 2021 select applicants/admitted master's students will be identified and extended an exclusive invitation. More details including a detailed itinerary and logistics will be offered to invited participants closer to the event.
